CARE INSTRUCTIONS

CARING OF YOUR CASHMERE

PRESERVING ITS QUALITY
Cashmere is a high-quality natural fibre
PELLAT-FINET jumpers are made using a yarn from an exceptional italian spinning mill, renowned for the quality of its fibres.
It is important to care for your cashmere to ensure it wears well. in order to preserve its quality, we recommend washing it regularly (every three to four wears).
As a general rule, let your jumper rest after wearing it for a day. The knit needs to slowly recover its shape after being used all day.
Protect your jumper from dust by folding it and storing it in the box provided. Do not hang cashmere garments, as this will cause them to lose their shape.

HAND WASHING
Wash & rinse in cold water
Wash your jumper in cold water (20°c maximum) with a small amount of cashmere or wool shampoo. Do not use fabric softener or too much shampoo, as this will damage the fibres.
Immerse your jumper in cold water for several minutes. Do not wring or leave to soak for too long. Rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove the shampoo.
Squeeze gently
Squeeze your jumper gently without wringing to avoid deforming its shape. Place on a terry cloth towel. Roll the towel so that it absorbs the water from the knit.
Dry flat
Dry your jumper by laying it flat on a terry cloth towel which will absorb the water from your jumper.
Iron on low heat
If you want to iron your jumper, we recommend using a low heat to avoid burning the fibres. Do not use steam as this may cause your jumper to lose its finish.

COMB YOUR JUMPER
If your jumper starts to pill, this is a sign of an accumulation of fibres which, when exposed to repeated rubbing, become detached and form small balls or hair on the surface.
This pilling is only a sign of excess material and will decrease considerably after several washes.
To ensure your jumpers continue to look beautiful, you can remove pills with a special cashmere comb before washing.
